Foundation Stone Parish was established on 19th July 1999 by the pioneer of The Redeemed Bible College, Dominion Chapel Satellite Campus. The Bible College syllabus requires graduating students to establish a parish.  In fulfillment of this requirement, the class came up with three names and after due spiritual consideration “Foundation Stone” was chosen.

The Parish witness total of eleven (11) members at the first service held at 27 Barrack rd, off Command on the 19th July 1999, at the second service the attendance rose to thirty eight members (38), weekly service of Tuesday and Thursday were introduced on Aug 3rd 1999.

The Church continued to grow at an average numbers of five members weekly; it recorded a total of fifty two members in just three months before it was officially handover.

On 24th October 1999, it was officially handed over by the Bible College and the Pioneer Pastor was appointed along with two ministers and eighteen workers from Dominion Chapel.

Pastor Shem Bello with other ministers took over the church from a three bedroom flat at 27, Barracks road and moved the church to where it is now.  From Dunghill to Paradise is the story of the church we are celebrating today.

The Dunghill got the baptism of the Holy Ghost fire during Easter Let’s-Go-A-Fishing. A great crusade was conducted on the land by Evangelist Banji Adesanmi, he was the first preacher who made prophetic utterances to launch against the kingdom of darkness on that land.

A historic change was made on 29th June 2003 when the first service was held on the permanent site at the “Open Heaven”

The construction of the permanent site started 2003 and it was dedicated in Jan 2009 under the leadership of Pastor Ola Olukoyede. Within the space of four (4) years, the church witnessed so many growths in terms of parishes, workers/ministers, members, and facilities in general.

In September 2010, the church was elevated from Parish to Zonal headquarter with the new pastor in charge being the first Zonal Pastor of the church, Pastor. Austin Robinson. At present, the church has grown with over a thousand worshippers during our Sunday services, additional parish, more house fellowship centers all to the glory of God.
